The Course: ​​5k (3.1 miles) The course will loop throughout Whittier Narrows Park--Legg Lake, Center Lake and North Lake--and runners/walkers of all levels are welcome. Route consist of asphalt and trail  ​ Start Line Activities Pre-event Party and warm-up Pre-Games Dj music Course Support and Entertainment Water stations at two points: mid point of the course and at the finish line. Post-Race Fiesta Activities: 8:20-11:00 a.m Receive your Tacos and Beer(21+) Live Mariachi Music LIve bands and DJs Piñata bashing party Tug-o-war Games and more.... Tacos N Beer 5k Race Awards: To the top three overall Male and Female Finishers--based on chip timing results. FUN COMPETITION: Will give Awards in the Categories of Traditional Costume: Team and Individual competition. Your race bib must be visible on the costume. Largest Team (most members registered)

Whittier Narrows Park offers plenty of parking with an admission $7 fee per car--so car pool with your team.

REFUND POLICY
All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is noted on our registration application, and when you register for any of our events you must agree to this policy. You may not alter, reproduce, give or sell your race bib number to another individual – if you do, this could result in your disqualification as well as the runner who uses your race bib number. The entry fee for this year's event will NOT transfer to next year's event, no exceptions. This policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected business or family emergency, pregnancy, etc. There are NO exceptions. Please note that the Tacos and Beer 5K  and RunCarrera reserves the right to reject any entry.
